“To know or to believe, that is the question!”

Aristotle says in his work Metaphysics, “All men by nature, desire to know.” 2300 years later, what we see is that “Most people, by nature, desire to believe.” Aristotle was saying what should be, of course; what he wanted to see. We do not debate faith, faith should not be debated. Furthermore, what is being criticized here is choosing to believe what one hears rather than investigating. But when it comes to knowledge, the doors to the future open for you. Faith, however, pertains to the past. Yet humanity is the future. Or at least it should be.
